The new LT25 linear cable extension transducer from BEI - also known as a cable extension transducer, displacement transducer, yo yo pot, string encoder, draw wire sensor or string potentiometer - utilizes a flexible cable, a spring-loaded spool, and an incremental optical encoder that provides precise digital position and speed information in a compact and easy-to-install design that will perform well in harsh environments.
